Getting Started with Terrascope Reporting for Editors

Welcome to Terrascope Reporting! This guide will walk you through the process of drafting responses for your organization's environmental reports.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Reporting Project

From the main dashboard, use the left-hand navigation to go to 'Reporting' > 'Projects' and select your specific project (e.g., 'Annual Climate Disclosure 2026').

Step 2: Select a Reporting Question

Within your project, browse through the different sections (e.g., 'Governance', 'Measurement'). Click on a question to open its drafting interface. Your current location will be shown in the breadcrumbs.

Step 3: Review AI-Drafted Content and Sources

The system will automatically draft a response using your organization's existing documents. Review the content under 'Drafted from source documents'. The source file(s) will be listed, allowing you to cross-reference if needed.

Step 4: Understand the Reporting Guidance

On the right side of the screen, you'll find the 'Terrascope Guidance' pane. This section provides detailed requirements from your chosen reporting standard (e.g., IFRS S2). Read this carefully to ensure your response is compliant and complete.

Step 5: Edit and Refine Your Response

Use the rich text editor to modify, expand, or correct the AI-drafted response. Ensure your edits address all points mentioned in the 'Terrascope Guidance'. If another user is editing the same section, you will see a 'Currently being edited by You' or their name displayed.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

Periodically click the 'Save' button to ensure your progress is not lost.

Step 7: Submit for Review

Once you are satisfied with your response, click 'Submit for CM Review'. This will notify a Manager or Reviewer that the section is ready for their approval.
