This guide helps you understand and resolve common errors during Land Occupation data upload.
Step 1: Identify the Error Message
After uploading your file, if there are issues, you will see an error message. Common messages include 'Draft activity added' with a red 'X' and 'Data ingestion failed'.
Step 2: Download Logs (if available)
If a 'Download logs' button is present, click it to get more detailed information about what went wrong with the data processing.
Step 3: Correct the Data in the Template
Based on the error message or logs, open your land_occupation.xlsx file and make the necessary corrections. Common issues include:
Incorrect data format: Ensure all cells adhere to the specified data types (e.g., numbers for quantities, dates for dates).
Missing required fields: Verify that all mandatory columns have data.
Duplicate rows: The system will flag duplicate entries. You can see these in the 'Data' tab after a partial ingestion.
Step 4: Re-upload the Corrected File
Go back to the task details, click 'Add data' again, and select your corrected file.
Step 5: Verify Successful Ingestion
After re-uploading, the processing steps should show all green checks, indicating successful data validation and ingestion. You can then click 'View results' to confirm the data is now correctly displayed.
